Jill D. Sanders, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with over thirty years of experience working with children, adults and families. Dr. Sanders obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, her master’s degree from Purdue University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah. She is a licensed psychologist in Florida and Utah.
Dr. Sanders has worked in child and adult inpatient psychiatric settings as well as outpatient clinics in Germany, Utah and Florida. She has numerous publications and is a frequent speaker at local and national professional conferences. Before moving to Florida in 2006, Dr. Sanders served for nine years on the Utah Psychology Licensing Board and on numerous court and legislative committees regarding family law issues. She is a member of the Association of Family Law Professionals (AFLP), the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and its' Florida Chapter (FLAFCC). She was the President of the Florida Chapter of the FLAFCC in 2017 and serves on court committees charged with improving services for divorcing families.
Her primary area of expertise is conducting court-ordered parenting plan evaluations, custody evaluations and parenting capacity evaluations. She has conducted hundreds of evaluations and routinely provides expert testimony.
Additionally, she has a small therapy practice. New clients are taken only by referral from current clients or community professionals.
